TDY, eXile Stepdown & C.L.A.W

Some of you may have known that I was in Cleveland for two weeks doing TDY. For some reason TDY means Temporary Duty, not sure why the Y is there but yeah.  Well myself and my friend Edin from work went to Cleveland and helped out since they were short some people. We had a blast while we were out there we worked our asses off that is for sure. I worked about 12 days straight then got off of work to fly back home and do my stepdown at Exile.  Then I had to hurry back to Cleveland and head back to work so didn't get to party much with the new boy or my friends. While we worked in Cleveland we didn't get to go out much or do much since we were working the whole time. But we did have a Monday off together the week of C.L.A.W. so we went to the Great Lakes Science Center with the guy I refer to as Edin's Stalker lol, there is a back story on that but yeah....
Well as far as the eXile stepdown it was sad. I cried after I did the stepdown and before the contestants started coming out. I did say one thing and that one thing has been on my mind since I said it, "I am not stepping away, this is the beginning and I am pushing harder than I have before"  I see no reason for me to step away, I am a boy, better yet I am a boy for the community. I love being out there and helping the people that are in need of the help.  I have many events planned for the next couple of months, its just the fact of trying to get them all to fit in my schedule that may be changing soon.  I hope it doesn't change much!  Back to the eXile boy contest, there were five contestants and there were five judges, plus there were a TON of people in the audience that evening as well.  The winner of the contest was boy Steven and the first runner up was Shane Sprankel, Congrats to both and I had already told all the boys that I am drafting them to help with my fundraisers!
Now all about C.L.A.W.  C.L.A.W also known as Cleveland Leather Awareness Weekend happened this April 28-May 1 and it was amazing!! I had so much fun out in Cleveland I loved it!!  I had met so many people from different areas of the United States and I had finally met Mama Reinhart who I have talked to for a while but had never met.  I am Mama's Army Cub so it was great to meet her, and also be in my first Mama's Family photo. While at C.L.A.W. I also did a photo shoot for the C.L.A.W. nation posters that circle around the U.S in different bars, also while there I was a table captain at the International Family dinner, basically I sit at a table with a group of men who I really didn't know and we talked about different things, I just had to make sure that I kept the conversations going and it wasn't quiet and boring at the table, I think I did a good job at that.  I attended a few classes while there and I learned a few things that I had never knew before.  But the next things I have planned are surprises to be left for people to wonder about hehe...

TBRU!!

For those of you that don't know what TBRU stands for it is the Texas Bear Round Up, one of the biggest bear runs in the U.S. It is one of the best things you can go to! I am very excited to go and spend this time with some of my friends that I have, as well as meeting new men while out there!  This year I will be working with my friend Michael, which I can't wait to see him!! We are going to be in the Vendor Market most of the day, the iPad will be playing music, and just hanging out having fun the whole time.

ReCap

Hey Everyone!
It has almost been a month since the fundraiser and not much has really gone on. In case you didn't know Daddy Bill and I are no longer together so I am a single leather boy,  But this journey is still going on!  Had a amazing time hanging out with friends and flying out to St Louis, Missouri to get rid of my car that I was having issues with.  Other than that been working a lot really, just trying to get things together and have fun while doing it. Then went out to OKC, OK for drill and thats when things were starting to feel odd.
While out in OKC I noticed that my muscles were getting weak and I was just feeling so drained of all my energy.  It just seemed to have gotten worse over the weekend and Monday morning I called and set up a DR appointment to figure out what is wrong.  Well the DR said it was a Staph Infection. But the staph infection that I had was not a good one it had gone so long in my body that my body was weakening very quickly.  So i have been off work since Sunday(3/7) and don't go back til this Sunday Night (3/13).  Each day i have taken the meds and relaxed in warm baths of Epsom Salt water to heal up the Staph infection and its turning to be better than it was.  I  go back to the doctor on Thursday to get checked out again and hopefully be back to work on Sunday! Next week is TBRU!!
TBRU(Texas Bear Round Up) is the event that a lot of Bears, Cubs, Otters, Chasers and everyone else looks forward to! I know I am excited! I am helping out my friend Michael while out there, which i can't wait to see him!  I can't wait to hang out and have fun with friends and enjoy the whole weekend!
But for now I am outta here, I am tired and need to prepare for a fun eventful day tomorrow! :)

Your boy,
boy Robert

Daddy's Naughty Valentine

As most of you know I had a fundraiser on Feb. 11 called Daddy's Naughty Valentine.  It didn't go as well as planned but I dealt with the issues and had fun with it no matter what!  I am proud to have had my friends out to help me especially Sir Dart who traveled in from Toronto to help participate in the fundraiser.  If you weren't able to come out to the fundraiser you sure missed Sir hog tying me and throwing me face down on the stage, which was very hot!!  You also missed me being pulled around the bar with clothespins and money hanging off of my body. Which was hot as well! The jello shots and the raffles went around, we had four different raffle baskets. This same night was also a drag show at the bar so I worked with the queens to have a good night together.  Though there were many people that kept giving us weird looks and making comments I had fun with it, and can't wait to do another fundraiser with Sir Dart again!  But if you missed this one you don't want to miss the next one I have planned.  Just think of some type of Military Maneuvers with dogtags, camo, and partially naked boys.  If you want to help out please send me a message or a email!

Once again thank you Sir Dart for making this a Fun Fundraiser!!
Thanks!
boy Robert

HIV

So I was just thinking to myself while I was washing the dishes that two days ago (Jan. 27th) was my two year anniversary of discovering that I was HIV +. I remember that I was sad and depressed about it and I didn't really have anyone to talk to. I remember that I had had thoughts of taking my life because I didn't know why god would have given me the disease with no cure. But I thought about it and there is a reason he gave it to me, I was in a hole. My life was sucking, I had a crappy job no real friends just people who posed themselves as a friend and turn around to stab you while your not looking. But now I look back and see that it had changed me. From then to now I have made so many friends, some are positive some are negative, but they don't care what your status is as long as you are true to yourself. Its amazing that two years of being HIV + I didn't have to take any sort of meds, but on the 27th of Jan I started taking Atripla. We shall see how that med works with me and if it is going to help lower my counts and everything. HIV really doesn't change who you are, its you who changes who you are. I was in a hole and for some strange reason it made me look at myself and want to better myself. Thats when I realized I needed to do more for myself and more for the community, and since then I have been helping with different charities and fundraisers in the different states that I have lived in. I love helping and I really don't think I'll be stopping anytime soon! This is just a random blog of thoughts that I have had today, it is a bit jumbled, but I hope you understand what it means really.

Fundraisers

So just a random thought that I have had for the last couple of days. I don't mind going to fundraisers and helping out people that need the help. But why should I continue to go to one bar where the money raised at a fundraiser goes to one individual all the time? Its not right to just throw a fundraiser and have it go to your travel fund, its not right! You are a member of the community a title holder and someone that is there to help, but you care about yourself? Its just not right....Just random thoughts about it really. I just don't want to deal with this bullshit anymore!

A Change!

Hey Everyone, I have finally gotten the blog and websites up and running, just doing the last minute editing of everything. I am still working on the pics for the website, trying to figure out a good way to get them all published in certain albums.  So just working on that, as of this week I am working 0500-0800 M-Th then off Fri and Sat have three fundraisers in Columbus, OH to go to on that day so lets hope I can make it to all three! I don't really have much more to say on here as of right now other than I am still working out the last minute kinks on things. If you see something that looks wrong or out of place please don't hesitate to let me know on here or at my email(armycub@gmail.com) I would appreciate it very much!

Thanks!
